Product Roadmap

Where we are.
Where we're going.

Orchard360 is actively developed across six phases — the first four are live in production, with the fifth already in motion. Here's the full picture.

Six phases. Four already live.

Each phase builds on a stable foundation. No half-shipped features — everything live has gone through the full stack.

1
Core Product Live

Authentication, data hierarchy, lot management, block actions, approvals, email notifications, and audit trail — the bedrock of the entire platform.

Clerk auth + JWT + role assignment
Sector → Orchard → Lot → Block hierarchy
Lot & block management with inline editing
Approval workflow (plant, remove, kneecap, graft)
Email notifications (Resend)
Immutable audit log on all mutations
New lot wizard (new_dev + split/merge)
Settings: varieties + structure types
2
Forecast Module Live

The full forecasting pipeline — sector managers submit monthly TCE and bin forecasts, Finance reviews, approves, overrides, or sends back. Complete version history on every submission.

Driver-based forecast entry (Buds, Size, Pickout%, Packout%)
Auto-calculated Bins + TCEs
Full version history on every submission
Crop Volume Review for Finance
Approve / override / send back flow
Variance vs Target/Budget and vs prior forecast
Forecast period lock/unlock (Finance)
Email: submitted → Finance, sent back → SM
3
Role-Specific Dashboards Live

Every role gets a purpose-built landing experience — not a generic home screen. The Grower Dashboard surfaces the five most important cards on login. Org notices keep teams aligned. Role-aware routing sends everyone exactly where they need to be.

Grower Dashboard — 5-card landing (snapshot, actions, deadlines, notices, activity)
Season Snapshot — hectares, lots, producing trees, forecast bins & TCEs
Org Notices — announcements with expiry, posted by orchard heads
Pending Actions — structure requests, unsubmitted & sent-back forecasts
Due Dates card — colour-coded urgency per period (red / amber / green)
Role-aware routing — sector managers scoped to own sectors only
4
Network & Data Sharing Live

Orchard360 becomes a network — not just a tool for one org. Growers and packers connect through a permission-controlled supply network. Packers get a purpose-built incoming supply view. Every org benchmarks itself against region and industry.

Supply Network — request/approve/decline + lot-level sharing controls
Packhouse Destinations — lot-to-packer allocation per season
Packer Dashboard — incoming supply by variety + by grower vs AOP
Variety Benchmarking — regional + industry, 3-org anonymisation
In-app notifications (supply requests, approvals, declines)
Superadmin — org onboarding, benchmark region assignment, multi-org management
5
Advanced Intelligence In Development

Deeper data structures and decision-support tools. Lot splitting with lineage tracking. GM-level variety portfolio views. Bud count monitoring bays that feed the forecasting engine. TCSA at block level for yield efficiency benchmarking.

Lot Split — divide a lot into 2+ children with lineage tracking
Variety Portfolio View — concentration, tree age, risk signals (GM-level)
Monitoring Bays — bud count data feeds into the forecast engine
TCSA — Trunk Cross-Sectional Area at block level
Taxonomy Mapping — per-org terminology layer for clean cross-grower aggregation
Email notifications for supply requests & deadline reminders
6
Scale & Integration Planned

Enterprise-grade integrations, analytics exports, subscription billing, and mobile support — so Orchard360 can scale from boutique growers to large multi-org packhouse networks.

Analytics — TCE/bins trend charts, year-on-year comparisons
Export to Excel & PDF (finance-ready formats)
Mobile-responsive UI
Third-party grower onboarding wizard
Snowflake data sync (scheduled)
Stripe subscription billing

🌱

More crops coming

Citrus, berries, nuts, and more — built on demand for operations that need it.

Built on three principles

Every decision in Orchard360 comes back to these.

🌱

Built from the ground up for orchards

Not adapted from generic agri software. Orchard360 is designed around the real hierarchy and workflows of how orchards actually operate — from sector to row.

🔒

Every action is accountable

Nothing is anonymous. Nothing is overwritten. Every approval, forecast, and edit carries a name, a timestamp, and a reason. That's not a feature — it's a foundation.

📈

Grows with your operation

Start with pip fruit. Add vineyards. Bring on third-party growers. Sync to your data warehouse. Orchard360 is architected to scale with you — not lock you in.
